Two lines to present myself.

My name’s Emanuele Quintarelli, an information architect, user experience and social software consultant.

This blog basically present my studies, my links and reflections about the user centred world, social software, classification and collaborative tagging systems.

After completing a Master in Multichannel User Experience at IED here in Italy, this year I have organized the first ever Italian IA Summit.

In 2006 I’ve also participated at the seventh IA Summit in Vancouver and talked at the second european IA Summit in Berlin, pushing towards the growth of the italian user experience community keeping contacts with the international world.

I’m actively involved in a number of tagging related experiments. Among them Taggly.com and Facetag.org (new baby presented in Berlin).

After a few years working in Accenture (the one playing golf with the tigers… ) evangelizing and managing projects about customer experience, I’ve recently moved to Reed Business Information as a Web 2.0 R&D Director to investigate new business models on the web 2.0 world for B2B companies.
