BarCamp Turin

BarCamp Turin

Taken from BarCamp.org:

BarCamp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from attendees.

Attendees must give a demo, a session, or help with one, or otherwise volunteer / contribute in some way to support the event. All presentations are scheduled the day they happen. Prepare in advance, but come early to get a slot on the wall. The people present at the event will select the demos or presentations they want to see.

BarCamp Turin is the second one in Italy and will be held Dicember 2nd in Turin, north of Italy after the BzaarCamp (Milan, Saturday Sep 30th).

The event is free (of course) and the list is already full of really active and experienced people acting on the italian market and blogosphere. It will be the first possibility to meet some friends and to discuss about my latest projects Taggly (where I collaborate with Raffaele Rasini) and FaceTag.

This is something new for me because it’s weird but I’ve more contacts from North America and North Europe than from Italy. I’m very curious about the environment and feeling into the italian community of bloggers and geeks.

See you there.
