World Usability Day

Mark Vanderbeeken (Experientia) invited me to the World Usability Day that this year in Italy will be held November, the 14th in the Aula Magna of the Bicocca University:

“Why doesn’t this work right? What am I supposed to do with this now?”

World Usability Day promotes the value of usability engineering, user-centered design, and every user’s right to ask for things that work better. It is an Earth-Day-style event which last year involved 115 events in 35 countries.

The Usability Professionals’ Association is doing that by encouraging, organizing, and sponsoring 36 hours of activities at the local level around the globe, all occurring on November 14, 2006

This is a fundamental appointment to meet your peers and to spread the word about the importance of a cultural shift in companies towards a really user centred process.

You can read the program and I suggest to register yourself now through the registration form. It’s absolutely free!

I’ll be there.
